Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 July 2026
1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and EventLink Co., Ltd. (“EventLink”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Thailand at 102 Soi Yasoob 1, Vibhavadi-Rangsit Road, Chomphon, Chatuchak, Bangkok 10900.
“The Service” means the EventLink web application at app.eventlink.dev, our website at eventlink.dev, and everything we offer through them: event planning workspaces, task management, team collaboration, and our AI features.
By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use EventLink. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data and forms part of this agreement.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use EventLink.
- If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need your parent's or legal guardian's consent. Under Thai law that generally means anyone under 20 should have a guardian's agreement before entering into these Terms.
- If you use EventLink on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and “you” means both you and that organisation.
3. User Accounts and Security
- Give us accurate information. Keep your account details current. You may sign up with an email and password, or through Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Facebook or LINE.
- Your credentials are yours to protect. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Do not share your password, and do not let anyone else use your account.
- Tell us if something is wrong. If you suspect your account has been compromised, contact us at hello@eventlink.dev straight away.
- One person, one account. Do not create multiple accounts to get around usage limits, and do not create an account on someone else's behalf without their permission.
4. Licence to Use EventLink
For as long as you comply with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own event planning, whether that is personal, or on behalf of your organisation.
That is a licence to use the Service, not a sale. We keep every right we have not expressly given you here.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or try to derive the source code of the Service, except where the law expressly permits it.
- Resell, rent, sublicense or white-label the Service, or otherwise make it available to third parties as your own product.
- Access it without authorisation: probing, scanning, breaking authentication, or trying to reach data that is not yours.
- Upload malware, viruses, or any code intended to harm or disrupt the Service or the people who use it.
- Scrape or harvest data, including bulk collection of public profile pages, whether by bot, crawler, or any automated means.
- Circumvent our limits: rate limits, usage quotas, AI spend ceilings, or plan restrictions, including by creating extra accounts.
- Misuse the AI features to generate unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or abusive material, or to attempt to extract our prompts or models.
- Break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or upload content you do not have the right to upload.
- Overload the Service: denial-of-service attacks, or automated traffic that degrades it for others.
We may investigate suspected breaches and take action, including suspending or terminating access.
6. Your Content and Intellectual Property
You own your content
“Your Content” means everything you put into EventLink: events, tasks, comments, documents, images, reflections, and anything else you create or upload. You own it, and it stays yours.
So that we can actually run the Service, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display and process Your Content, but only for the purpose of providing and improving EventLink for you. This licence includes sending relevant content to our AI provider so the AI features can work (see section 7), and it ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell Your Content, and we do not use it to advertise to you.
You are responsible for Your Content: that you have the right to upload it, and that it does not break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
We own EventLink
The Service itself (the software, source code, design, user interface, the EventLink name and logo, and all related intellectual property) belongs to EventLink Co., Ltd. or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of it to you.
Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely, without obligation or payment to you. We mention this only so nobody is surprised; we are not trying to take anything from you.
7. AI Features
EventLink uses AI (currently Claude, provided by Anthropic) to draft task lists, write event descriptions, power the in-app assistant, and produce post-event debrief reports. To do this, we send the relevant parts of Your Content to that provider. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is sent.
- You own the output. As between you and us, anything the AI generates for you is Your Content, and we assign to you whatever rights we have in it.
- AI output is not unique. Similar prompts can produce similar results for other users, so we cannot promise the output is original or that you can claim exclusive rights in it.
- Check it before you rely on it. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable. It is a starting point, not professional advice, and you remain responsible for decisions you make about your event.
- Fair use applies. AI features are subject to usage limits, including hourly generation limits and daily cost ceilings per user, per organisation, and per network, which protect the Service from abuse and runaway cost. We may adjust these limits, and we may pause AI features for an account that exceeds them.
- Do not put anything in that you would not want processed by a third party. The AI features necessarily involve sending your text to our AI provider.
8. Plans, Payment and Refunds
EventLink is currently free, and we do not take payments. There is no paid plan you can buy today, we do not collect card or billing details, and we have no payment processor running. If you have been asked to pay for EventLink, it did not come from us.
We intend to introduce paid plans. When we do, the following applies, and we will not charge you anything without telling you first and getting your express agreement to the price and the plan.
- Fees and billing. Prices for paid plans will be shown before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not retroactively refund the period you are in.
- Refunds. Fees are generally non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, or where we have clearly failed to provide the Service. If you think you have been charged in error, contact us; we would rather fix it than argue about it.
- Changes to pricing. We will give at least 30 days' notice before a price change affects you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Taxes. Prices exclude taxes unless stated. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you, other than taxes on our income.
- Fair use. We may apply reasonable usage limits to the free plan, such as the number of active events, and we may introduce or change them with reasonable notice. Any limits that currently apply are shown on our pricing page and in the product.
9. Service Availability and Changes
We work hard to keep EventLink running, but we do not promise any particular level of uptime and we do not currently offer a service level agreement. The Service may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.
We may add, change, or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces the Service, or discontinue it altogether, we will give you reasonable notice and a fair opportunity to export Your Content.
10. Suspension and Termination
- You can leave at any time. Delete your account in the app under Settings → Account. If you own an organisation, you will need to transfer or delete it first, so your team is not left stranded.
- What happens to your data. Deleting your account deletes your profile and personal records. Content you contributed to an organisation may remain with that organisation so your colleagues' records stay intact, but it is unlinked from you. See the Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if your use puts the Service or other users at risk, or if we are required to by law. Except where it would be unsafe, unlawful, or impractical, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right.
- What survives. Sections 6 (intellectual property), 11 (disclaimers and liability), 12 (indemnity) and 14 (governing law) continue to apply after termination.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
“As is”
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
In plain terms: we build EventLink carefully and we want it to work well for you, but we cannot guarantee it will be free of bugs or downtime, and we cannot promise the AI will always be right.
We do not scan uploaded files for viruses or malware. You are responsible for the files you upload and share, and for scanning anything you download from another user.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EventLink is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption (even if we were told such damages were possible).
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) THB 5,000.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for gross negligence or wilful misconduct). If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights your local law gives you, and nothing here takes them away.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold EventLink harmless from claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or content you uploaded that infringes someone else's rights. This does not apply to the extent the claim is caused by us.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as EventLink changes. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
For material changes (anything that meaningfully affects your rights, such as introducing fees, changing the liability cap, or changing how we handle Your Content) we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using EventLink after that, you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before they take effect, and if you have paid for a period you cannot now use, we will refund it pro rata.
We will not quietly rewrite these Terms against your interests and hope you do not notice.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
- The courts of Bangkok, Thailand have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that if you are a consumer resident in the EEA, the UK, or elsewhere with mandatory local protections, you keep the right to bring proceedings in your home courts and to rely on the mandatory consumer law of your country.
- Talk to us first. Before starting formal proceedings, please email hello@eventlink.dev. Most things are quicker to fix than to litigate.
15. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
- Severability. If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, and we will tell you if we do.
